Old Insulation causing air drafts
Rim Joist spray foamed.
One of the areas that leak a lot of air into the home is the rim joist. In this photo we used spray foam to insulate and air seal the rim joist.
CleanSpace encapsulation system
This is our CleanSpace encapsulation system which consists of 2" SilverGlo foam on the walls, drainage mat on the floor, terrablock foam insulation, and then covered with a 20 mil seven ply cleanspace liner.
Smartdrain
For added protection we installed a smartdrain with a water watch alarm. The purpose for the smart drain is to alarm the homeowner if there is ever a water leak into the crawl space due to a plumbing leak.
