Our customer from Reserve township in Pittsburgh, PA contacted us regarding popping noise and smell when his boiler came on. Our service technician found broken burner and soot coming from boiler due to improper venting. Due to the age of the boiler and cost of repair the customer decided to replace with a new unit. We installed a Weil McLain Eco 95% high efficient (Energy Star rated) gas boiler vented with pvc pipe.
